The BulldustNBack Trial is an initiative of The Rotary Club of Mill Point (RCMP) which has been actively involved in the local community for more than 30 years. It is being held in memory of long standing member Jon Lawrance (d’ced), a well known South Perth resident, business man and Rotarian of many years.
Each year members put together an event to raise funds for a well deserving cause in WA. 2019 is the year of the BulldustNBack Trial. 50% of funds raised will go to Kids Cancer and 50% to Mental Health in WA.
The Kids Cancer Support Group (KCSG) is a not for profit organisation dedicated to making a difference to the lives of kids suffering from cancer and leukaemia and their families of Ward 3B Total Care Unit at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, Subiaco Western Australia.
KCSG was formed in 1983 under its original name “The Life Family Support Group of Children with Cancer and Leukaemia” by a group of parents whose children were diagnosed with cancer. Working with staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children they identified a need for support for parents, families, children and staff through the often traumatic cancer journey.
The Rotary Club of Mill Point meet every Friday from 7.00am to 8.30am, adding a new dimension to, and broadening life experiences through meeting and interacting with a wide range of people who share a passion for doing good for others - and more importantly, having fun doing it!
